After an awesome day we craved a good slice of pizza and Sal's didn't disappoint. We ordered half pepperoni and half bbq chicken both were delicious. Very friend staff and tons of tables that were clean. While your order is being taken you can't help but love the aroma and look at the other pizzas on display. Not too far from Double Day Field. When we went the hours had been extended but usually closes early. Overall a solid choice when in Cooperstown.

This is a comfortable family pizzeria. The food is excellent, and the customer service is over the moon! We stopped in for lunch back in May before visiting my stepfather, who was in rehab and could not eat solid food. He requested pizza (which had to be pureed). When we asked for it, the server thought they didn't have the equipment to do that. Soon after, she returned and said the chef had told her they would try it. After a couple of attempts, it was PERFECT consistency. My step-father LOVED this treat! I cannot say enough about the service we received that day. Sal's will always be a delicious stop when we visit, although we won't ask for pureed pizza. He is home now and out of rehab. :) Thank you for your kindness.

For what it is, it's perfect. An honest to goodness pizzeria that serves greasy, very big and super tasty pizzas and garlic knots in a simple, unpretentious setting. It's something we really appreciated. Our food was a slight wait because of the huge crowds but it came piping hot. No one had or asked for silverware. Here, you dig in with your hands! Super delicious pizza is meant to be eaten that way! We sat inside but the back of the store had spacious patio seating area. It's a good NY pizzeria and that's an awesome thing!

While visiting the baseball hall of fame saws needed an afternoon snack. We headed over to Sals. Being from NJ/Philly, there is just a certain smell that lets you know it's going to be good. These guys have it. We split a large pecorino and sausage pizza. Delicious. And to think I was the No vote. Ha, proved me wrong. There is also a decent selection of beer on the premises. Baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet? Nah, baseball , beer and pizza!!

Great service with a smile . Great flavors / prices and loved the atmosphere with all the baseball stuff around the pizzeria. They had a place in Brooklyn before so the flavor of the sauce was really good and the slice was as it should be . I'd be back .

A good slice shop in central NY, especially if youre visiting the baseball hall of fame. They have a back patio outdoors with ample seating. $12.50 Medium, $16.50 large. Specialty slices are $6.
